3. Health and Safety
Medical and Mental Health Conditions: Tell us about any medical conditions or relevant mental health issues and accommodation requests on the registration form. Check with your doctor and/or psychotherapist if you have any physical health or mental health concerns about attending.
Risk: By joining, you understand there are risks involved with physical activities and that the wellness exercises and discussions could bring up uncomfortable emotions. You agree to participate at your own risk.
· Trigger Warnings: Content Warning: Be aware that some topics may be triggering or emotionally challenging. You have the right to step out or take a break if you feel uncomfortable at any point.
Support Resources: If you need additional support during or after the Workshop, please reach out to the facilitators, who can provide information on appropriate resources.
· Covid and Illness Safety Protocols: We value the inclusion, health and safety needs of all people. Some workshop participants will likely be at higher risk for severe illness from Covid, RSV, or flu, or are in contact with someone who is. Wearing masks helps protect everyone, especially those who are most vulnerable. Therefore, masking at workshops is required, to ensure that everyone feels secure and can fully engage in the activities. Masks may be removed while eating or drinking.
Please don’t attend if you feel unwell or are having covid or respiratory illness symptoms. If you’ve been in close contact with someone who tested positive for Covid in the previous 5 days, please stay home or take a home covid test to make sure it’s a negative result in the hours before the workshop. Please contact Mindy if you find out you likely had Covid when you were at the workshop, so she can make participants aware in case they want to test for covid in the following days. Mindy received the Covid vaccines and gets regular boosters.
Your participation in these safety measures helps us create a healthy and welcoming space for all.
4. Professional Boundaries
Not a Substitute for Therapy: By joining, you understand: a) This Workshop is intended to be educational and supportive, not a substitute for professional therapy or medical treatment. If you need individualized mental health care, please consult a licensed mental health professional. b) that Mindy is not providing psychotherapy or assessment in these workshops, and that attending the workshop does not indicate having a client-therapist relationship. Her role is to guide discussions and provide information, not to offer therapy.
5. Participant Responsibilities
· Respect: I strive for sensitivity and inclusivity for people of all races, ethnicities, genders, gender expressions, sexual identities, ages, sizes, and abilities. I welcome your feedback about that. I expect everyone to be respectful to the other participants and the instructors/facilitators. If you’re disruptive, you may be asked to leave (without receiving a refund).
· Safe Space: This Workshop aims to create a safe and supportive environment. Please be mindful of the sensitivity of topics discussed and the impact of your words and actions on others.
Privacy: Respect others' privacy. Don’t share personal info that other participants discussed during the Self-Care: Monitor your own emotional state and practice self-care. Participate to the extent that you feel comfortable, and take breaks if needed.
Engagement: Active participation is encouraged, but you are not required to share personal information or do activities if you are not comfortable doing so.
6. Emergency Procedures
Crisis Situations: If you experience a mental health crisis during the Workshop, notify the facilitators immediately. Please provide an emergency contact person/info on the registration form.
7. Changes and Cancellations
Workshop Changes: We might need to change the schedule, content, or instructors. We’ll let you know if we make significant changes.

No refunds are issued if you are unable to attend the make-up date.
